Sierra Charts w/CQG

I have been using Sierra Charts for about 4 years. I need to have better execution and was told that I can use CQG servers to place my Sierra Charts application on, instead of my computer. My broker was not aware of the service. I'm confused, is this your Web API or FIX? Kelly |

We see you are currently using Rithmic and that is what we currently recommend you stay with. We have heard about connectivity issues with CQG among some users and we think that you could have problems. We do not see how you are going to have execution problems with Rithmic. I have 300mbs internet and some of my signals take too long to get executed, the price moved too quickly and I lose the trade. In one case, it took 30 seconds and another 17 seconds for my trade to be placed causing me to lose both trades. I need a faster solution for my auto-trading system. |

We do not see how this delay is related to Rithmic. This is the kind of problem we have heard about among some users who are using CQG due to a network connectivity issue. Do you actually have confirmation of this from the timestamps in the Trade Activity Log: Trade Activity Log Look for the time delay from when the order Status goes from Order Sent to Open for an order. YES, THAT IS HOW I FOUND THE PROBLEM. RITHMIC SENT A REJECTION NOTICE WITH A TIME STAMP ON IT. MY REP AT TRADE FOR LESS CONFIRMED THE DELAY. |
