Do you have a black theme?

White is too bright in the evening.

SC doesn't offer a dark theme and from their responses to these requests by many of us they don't seem interested in offering it anytime soon. You can use something like WindowBlinds to do what you want though.

I've attached a sample of my platform using one of their dark themes.

This is not true. The colors in Sierra Chart are fully customizable and have been since the beginning. It is actually one of the few programs in the world that has colors which are fully customizable throughout with the exception of nonclient area window elements and dialogs (Not yet).

Something like the title bar color is controlled by the operating system. And changing that is not technically possible. It has nothing to do with not being interested. There was never any statements to that effect. The title bar is largely irrelevant and not what the user is asking about.

And we are also not going to go out of our way to solve Microsoft problems, which we cannot do anyway.

This particular user is with TransAct, and by default their chart backgrounds are white. That is the reason for the question.

Change the colors through the Graphics Settings:

Engineering, sorry to mischaracterize your interest in offering a solution to those that want a complete dark theme in SC. If the original poster wants to go beyond changing the chart and trade window background colors, they can still use the option I suggested above.

Diana, I've attached another image below that shows what's possible to do with SC without a 3rd party solution if that's helpful.

Thanks -- Scott

Xfanman, may I ask what size monitors you have?

Thanks.

The monitor from that image is a 27" 2k (2560X1440) resolution display.

Acer K272HUL 2k resolution is perfect for the 27-28" Monitor size.

I see Newegg has one on sale for $199 at the moment but it's the TN screen version not an IPS screen if that's important to you (I prefer IPS to TN screens).

Hello Sierra,

Selecting chartbook tabs, momentarily white flashes the screen. Literally the room lights up from it.

Could you address this?

Thank you.
