Is there a way to 'attach' the Time and Sales window?

It floats and cannot attach, am I missing something?

Thanks
Mark

This is not supported and will not be added. Out of the question.

Is there a reason why this isn't considered? It would be nice if it could be moved and positioned like a chart then if I move a chart book or entire instance from one screen to the next or to a different location on one screen the t&s will move with it.

There is a Attach/Detach Window menu item in the Time&Sales Settings menu. It does not appear to do anything and probably should
be implemented or removed.

I agree with tsisvt. Since SC does not always remember where floating windows are placed amongst
multiple monitors and workspaces it would be nice to be able to attach any SC windows, even the various message windows (but
especially T&S) to a particular chartbook or the main window.

Refer to the documentation for what that command does. It does work properly as documented. And Sierra Chart does always remember the positions of windows. If there is any problem with this, it is an operating system level problem.

Thanks. The button does work just as described.

I completely understand that the window placement is an operating system issue, but it is still an issue and it could be alleviated by allowing all windows to be docked. One use case is wanting to have an overview SC instance appear on all workspaces. Currently, one has to set this for every window in all the chartbooks. If all windows could be docked it would be possible to sign up for a second or third SC connection and then just set the one overview window to appear everywhere. Another case where it would be handy to have all SC windows under the control of SC, rather than the OS, is the (perhaps unusual) situation of having to occasionally switch a monitor to be controlled by a different machine. Turning off a monitor necessarily causes havoc on the placement of windows.

The ability to dock all windows is a low priority request. It is easy to work around but it would be nice...someday...in the distant future.
