I would like to have my daily candle close on Friday and open on Monday be the same value. The Daily Friday Close value is often different from the Monday open value. What settings do I use to have the Monday open show the same value as the Friday close?

Currently, I am using the SC Forex Data feed (FXCM)and the NY time zone. My Chart setting is to use the Global Time zone, my Gap Fill is set to none, the "Combine Sun-Monday bars" is unchecked (however I have tried checking this option and the Friday close/Monday open is still different).

So, are there settings that I can use to make the daily chart have Friday close value be equal to the Monday open rather than have an offset of different values?

Thank you for your help.

I have attached a screenshot from a friend's FXCM data feed (European provider). Note the close of the Friday Candlestick bar value is equal to the open of the Monday bar value. This is how I would the Daily Sierra chart configuration to appear.

I hope you can provide configuration settings form my Sierra chart to display the Daily bars in this manner.

Thank you for your help.

There is no way to guarantee the Friday close price will be the same as the Sunday open price.

They can be different.

However ,in the case of an Intraday chart, there is this chart setting to fill gaps:

You could try setting that to fill the gaps.
