Hi SC,

Kindly have a look at the attached image. I am not sure if the problem is coming from the study subgraphs difference or from the Volume Value area lines study but something seems odd. Input study 1 (for the study subgraphs difference) is the Purple line, and Input study 2 is the Teal line. The dashes in the bottom region of the image seem correct but the difference study is not reflecting this as the line should extending lower for the next bar and it is going up. Just to put context into this, the purple line is a developing vpoc and the teal is a vpoc that is not developing and has a reference of N periods back set to 1.

Can you kindly look into what's wrong please?

Analyzing this is not within the scope of our support but this might be related to study calculation precedence:

You also need to consider that there could be changes with the referenced Subgraphs, during a chart update which is earlier than where the calculation is starting at with the Study Subgraphs Difference study, which is going to normally be at the last chart bar.

Actually, we do understand what the problem is. We have to do an update to the Volume Value Area Lines to properly support Study Subgraphs Difference.

Hi SC,

thank you for your reply.

Although I've seen some improvements, When I tried using it again using the Study subgraphs difference and set ln:8 (study 2 subgraph offset) to -1. I am again getting inconsistent differences that is not properly subtracting from the previous bar vpoc value. (see attached image).

If the vpoc shifts are doing lower lows, shouldn't the subgraphs difference study also follow that pattern? If not, is there a difference study I can use that would keep going down in the direction of the vpoc shifts that I am expecting.

Can you look into this please?

Thanks
