Hi, is there a way to add the range (i.e. H-L) of a candle on the region line or compact tool? Thanks.

Hi, is there a solution for this. I want to be able to quickly see the range (H-l) of any bar by moving the cursor.

The only way to do this is to add the Bar Difference study to the chart and use the Tool Values Window. The documentation for the Bar Difference Study can be found here: Bar Difference The documentation for the Tool Values window can be found here: Window and CW Menus: Tool Values Window (Window) When using the Compact Tool Values Window, you can only see the data from the region in which the tool is located, so you can see the Bar Difference when you move into the region that contains this study. It is not supported to be able to see the information at one time. To do this the Tool Values Window is your only option. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing

Thanks a lot. This is very helpful. Perhaps, you could at some point in the future (whenever you find the time) add this H-L in the compact tools window if possible. Then it can be set easily in chart/ settings/Advance settings. Thanks again

Hi John, In the compact tool window, I dont see bar difference when I move to bardifference study. I only see Y value showing the position of the cursor.

Can you please attach a screenshot showing this so we can get a better idea of what is happening. It should have the Y value, date, and then the Difference value. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing

Check to see if you have the setting Tools >> Tool Settings >> Chart Values >> Compact Tool Values Window Shows Chart Region 1 Values Only. I am pretty sure you have this checked on, which is why it is not displaying the information for the other region.
