Hi, I just downloaded the new version and after installing and reopening platform. It says sierrachartdtcbridge has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available. Please tell me a solution is available. I need it to work. This is why I hate new version and update, all these unforseen bugs and whatever. Thank you.

The problem is not with Sierra Chart itself but a separate program to interface with Rithmic. The problem can also be in the Rithmic software itself. We just tested the DTC bridge to Rithmic and did not see this problem on version 1713.

This is why we disfavor Rithmic strongly because we cannot provide a quality reliable interface to it.

Since we cannot reproduce the problem we do not know the cause. We recommend going back to a prior version and staying on that version. Here are instructions:

Also, if you continue to have problems with Rithmic we will help you get off of Rithmic, if possible and onto an alternative.

Be sure to read our prior post.

Hi, thanks for the quick reply. Definitely appreciate that. I am in an evaluation account and they only use Rithmic, unfortunately beyond my control. However, I have been using the platform on two computers at the same time for a while now with no problems at all. This is the first time I have had problems. On my other computer it also updated and seems to be connecting fine. Kind of weird. This is the newer computer too. Not sure why it's doing it. Any thoughts? Either way, I'll revert back to the old one on here and should be good. Thanks again.

Also, I take it the previous version was 1712? Is it that simple or did you guys skip numbers?

Hi, I went to that link since prerelease from the platform was doing nothing. It still downloaded 1713 but that other one not working I noticed was 32 bit, it chose this on it's own. Now this one just downloaded when I said prerelease from the link on site downloaded 1713 but with 64 bit and it seems to be working fine now. I have an Asus republic on gamers laptop so it's 64 bit and working, apparently. Thanks.

Regards,

Victor
