If I use numbers bars to highlight diagonal imbalances above, say, 200%, then I will get the colored response for 3x1 of course, and also 3x0.

If I try the same thing with Volume at Price Threshold Alert V2, it seems the 3x1 will give me a response, but 3x0 will not. This does not seem like the answer people would want.

Am I doing this wrong, or if not, can you make the change?

Thanks,

RLW

What are the specific Input settings you are using with the Volume at Price Threshold Alert V2 study?

Are you referring to a specific coloring option on the Numbers Bars and the use of the Enable Diagonal Zero Bid/Ask Compares?

Are you looking for the same kind of option for the comparison in the Volume At Price Threshold Alert V2?

Here's my Numbers Bars chart. Interestingly, my Enable Diagonal Zero Bid/Ask compares is set to no. Text coloring method is "Based on Diagonal Dominant Side AskVol BidVol Percentage." When it is zero on the bid and 6 on the diagonal ask, the ask is colored green, which I want.

In the Volume at Price Threshold Alert V2 0 bid by diagonal 6 offer does not get a marker. I would like it to get one, the same way 1 bid by diagonal 6 offer gets a marker.

Thanks.

In this case it is setting the Percentage of the side that is not 0 to 1000% when you do not have the Enable Diagonal Zero Bid/Ask Compares set to Yes. This is done, as it would be a divide by zero situation otherwise, so we just set it to a large percentage that should be enough to place these items into the Column # Range 3 Color.

If you do turn on the Enable Diagonal Zero Bid/Ask compares, it will then set the 0 value to 1, and then do the percentage calculations from there. This will give a different result. Just be aware of this depending on what you really want to see.

With regards to the Volume at Price Threshold Alert v2.0, we will look into adding an Enable Zero Bid/Ask Compares option. If we can get this done quickly, we will probably add an option to allow the user to set the 0 value to 1 or to just assume a large percentage (1000%). This would mimic the way the Numbers Bars work.

The Volume at Price Threshold Alert has been updated to include two new inputs to allow for Zero Value Comparisons and how to handle those comparisons. There were also a couple of fixes done for how the ratio calculations were being done and where it would place the marker for diagonal ratios.

These changes will be in the next Pre-Release v 1709.

That’s great. How do I keep abreast of when I can download the Pre-Release 1709?

Thanks.

On the home page it says pre-release is 1711. Should I assume that if the feature you added was 1709, it is by definition in 1711?

Thanks.
