I'm currently subscribed tp SC real time data feed. I don't seem to be getting realtime volume updated within the underlying chart.

I have to manually delete and download data to receive current and updated volume chart values.

Anything I'm doing wrong here?

I want to stream up to 500 symbols. I see SC data services offers this service. Is it also necessary for me to purchase quote boosters from IB or does this service cover this?

The Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed is completely separate from Interactive Brokers. You just need to subscribe through the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed the number of symbols require and this is all.

If at all possible maybe closer to 100 would be ideal. Also, can I get pricing for 900 real time symbols.

So you are saying that you want to use 100 instances of Sierra Chart? This is not a problem, but just surprising. Not sure TWS is going to handle that well.

Regarding symbols, we can give you an estimate and that would be $10 per 100 symbols. So it would be another 80 USD per month in addition to the 35 USD/month. And all of that paid to Barchart through us.

Great on the real time symbols, that is a lot less than IB.

More to the multiple instance idea. I will be running 900 charts, I have used "attach trade window to chart" for my attached orders before, the issue is the load it puts on my computer. Our idea was to use multiple instances with around 20 charts per instance and use the Global PnL tool.

If I may, I'd like to request that in addition to the global PnL being the collective whole of the charts in the chartbook but also have the ability to attach the global PnL based on chart #.

More or less, have the ability to utilize a profit/loss management tool within individual charts.

Please let me know if this is doable, it would be of great help.

Thanks

This is the other issue I run into. Limits the amount of trade windows I can create.

The solution to this is simply after setting the Trade Window controls as you require, then close it. This will save on Windows resources.

You can have a developer accomplish this using ACSIL. Or just use Attached Orders.

Hi, I just enabled 500 real time symbols and would like to extend the Instance Client ID's for up to 100. Please get back when you have a chance.

The next release will support 100 client instance IDs, but we think you are going to run into serious trouble on Windows running 100 copies of Sierra Chart.

We do not think Windows can handle that.
