Let me try this again, I have been trying to make sense of the Divergence Detector study, and I could not find any option to draw two opposing straight lines when divergence is presence. Please don't provide me the DD study link, I have read it like 100 times already. Let's keep it simple, just answer me whether it can or can't be done. If it can be done, where is the option. Thank you.

I too prefer the traditional divergence lines, based on peaks and nulls, not the slope angle comparison (moving average type) like with the current divergence study within Sierra Chart. There is at least one source I just discovered, it is not free, here are the links. Agree, DD it's incomprehensible and not useful. Dear Mark be aware that Hahn divergence indicator search for hidden divergences NOT for what you see on screen. The market "use" what you see on screen. Cheers

(UPDATE) [custom] Divergence Study, written and available from .Trade29 (free) It is almost there...I followed the instructions, registered, opened SC and the custom studies from .Trade29 were available to me. The Divergence lines are drawn, they appear to be accurate on the chart (price candles), but...the codes seems to be detecting peaks (neg and pos) for price, but not so much for study being compared, in this case Slow Stoch. If, both price (candles) and reference study were both detecting peaks (neg and pos), this would be spot on. Given the efficiency of Sierra Chart, I suppose it will be done sooner or later. Meanwhile I will stick to SC until something better comes along.

I would respectfully ask that Sierra programmers finish the Divergence Detector and enable it to print the divergence "lines" on the chart when divergence has been detected between price and the selected study. Divergence is a popular trading strategy, however the Sierra Divergence Detector is useless in its current form.

Thanks but I encountered yours much earlier but could not get it to show up in Add Custom Study, unlike others custom study which I added. I also tried blank ss. No cigar either. What have I done wrong?

Check your SierraChart>Data directory for the two files "Divergences Stoch MACD.StdyCollct" and "Blank.scss" if they are both in that directory, it should be available in Study menu...I think
