I noticed on the historical daily charts that the start of the day is at 6pm Eastern time. I want to only see RTH on that chart but when I check the chart settings the option to specify a time is grayed out. Is this something that I can do other than use an intraday chart and set the period to 1 days in the settings? While that works, it limits the amount of time I can go back as intraday is only 5 years.

Per the section below it looks like the only way to do this is what I am doing. Thanks very much for the reply.

To control the Session Times for Daily bars, you need to use an Intraday chart. Refer to Creating Daily Bars with Custom Session Times. Since Intraday data is being used, using this method will mean that you cannot access data as far back in time as with Historical Daily data charts. It will depend upon the amount of historical Intraday data available for the symbol.
