In Chart Settings>>Global Symbol Settings are symbol specific variables for updating a chart when a symbol is changed in that chart. Also included in the variables is Default Order Quantity. The value in Default Order Quantity can be used to set the Trade Window>>Quantity Buttons by pressing Default Quantities button. I cannot see how to get the Default Order Quantity to update the Quantity Buttons automatically when a chart symbol changes,( as do the other symbol specific chart variable), which is what is really needed since the values in the Quantity Buttons needs to change for each symbol. |

This will not be automatic. This will not happen. We cannot help further with this. You do have to manually use the Default Quantities button.

Is there a way to have ACSIL do the update? It really doesnt make sense that the other symbol specific settings get applied to the chart, but not the Default Order Quantity ( there is never going to be a time when the Default Order Quantity isnt required since it is the symbol specific default order quantity...its not just that it means it needs to manually changed, but the bigger issue is that if it isn't changed, and a trade is done, it could result in a trade being put in which is multiples of the correct size for that specific trade. Sure its the trader's problem, but it just seems that in this case, maybe a disable or enable for automatically updating the Default Order Quantity could be appropriate, but not the present case as is.

Thank you. Thats good. But how can i access the Default Order Quantity with ACSIL? And/Or use ACSIL to set the order quantity button values on the Trade Window?
