I would like to save space on my numbers bars by combining the information from two columns into one. I would like to coloring the text based on diagonal background based on diagonal dominant side AskVol BidVol Percentage based on a 400 percent threshold and color the background of column one based on the highest AskVol BidVol difference. These amounts are currently highlighted in column two. I know that I can color text separately, but that seems based on volume and not a percentage. Can you help please? Thanks. http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1512841851584.png

You just need to use both the Text Coloring Method and the Background Coloring Method and use different colors for each. This is explained here:

Numbers Bars: Using Text and Background Coloring Methods at Same Time

I know that I can color text separately, but that seems based on volume and not a percentage.
The Text Coloring Method supports both percentages and actual volume.

Thank you for your response. I have tried to work with what you sent me, but the problem that I have is that I am trying to compare two separate on different thresholds. I am highlighting text at 400 percent (on diagonal dominant, but I want to color the background only for the highest ask vol/bid vol difference cyan and for the lowest ask/bid difference pink in a single column of bid vol x ask vol. What am I doing wrong? Thank you.

OK we see, this really requires different threshold Inputs for both the Text and Background coloring methods. We would rather not do that to avoid complicating the study.

You just really need a separate Numbers Bars chart for this.
