Spreadsheets not saving

I've created a few spreadsheets lately and when I restart the program and the spreadsheet pulls up all of the columns that I edited are blank. I've never had an issue with this until recently. I always save everything religiously. I just created a new simple spreadsheet, added a few things to the columns, saved and reloaded it, and everything was blank. Why does this happen and what do I need to do in order to make sure that all of my work is saved????? I can't have it disappear like this. Thanks.

This is an issue in 1658 only. It has been resolved. Update to version 1659 following these instructions:
