charting rays and related market price?

hi if im drawnig a ray (ie trend line) - how do I know what value that becomes for a certain day? i can snap them to say a low for the day when drawing an uptrend...but cant work out the exact number where that trendline comes in on a certain day? and can this be done for the next trading day? thanks!
