There are two things that we need from you to determine the problem. If there is a particular Chartbook file this occurs with, we need you to attach it following these instructions: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=PostingInformation.php#AttachFile Also attach the Sierra3.CFG file in the main Sierra Chart folder. Both of these can be privately attached. Also did this happen after opening a particular Chartbook ? Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. We were unable to reproduce that error message you are getting using this Chartbook and global configuration file. It might be Windows 10 specific. OK when you have the problem do you notice any obvious issues with Sierra Chart? If you still have a problem, one thing you can try but we do not know if it would make a difference, is to reset Sierra Chart to a default state. FYI I rolled back to MS Windows 10 Ver.1703, OS Build 15063.726 I have not had the issues of disappearing windows or the fatal error message now in appprox 1 day. I run 5 monitors on Nvidia cards. I am keen to keep up to date with Windows updates .. I appreciate that keeping up with MS updates in SC is hard, but do you have a process/documentation that shows what SC version is compatible with what MS Update? For the moment I have disabled updates and wait for a longer term solution _ Switching OS is not an option.

. I appreciate that keeping up with MS updates in SC is hard, but do you have a process/documentation that shows what SC version is compatible with what MS Update? In general, there is no program for the Windows operating system that needs to be concerned with Microsoft updates. The last time we ever did anything in response to a Windows update was when Windows Vista came out and there were only a couple of minor changes needed.but do you have a process/documentation that shows what SC version is compatible with what MS Update? No, there is no such thing. And if Windows was so unstable and unpredictable to require something like this there is no point in anyone using it.
