In setting up CTS T4 Fix with Sierra- who does exchange data fees get paid to and who also sets it up?

It depends. We see that you have activated the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed on your Sierra Chart account. So did you want to use the Sierra Chart provided data feed rather than what is provided by CTS? It is preferred to use the Sierra Chart data feed.

So in the case of using the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed, the exchange fees are paid to us. You can activate the exchanges here:
https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=ExchangeDataFeedFeatures#Exchanges

In which case you do not need to activate any exchanges on your CTS account.

Was trying to get data feeds the most economical way possible. Was originally going to try setting connection up as lower cost way(CTS fix), but read where future spread/strategies are not supported in this method. I was definitely wanting to do spreads..

Therefore in this case, you would need to use the CTS FIX connection directly. Not the low-cost connection model.

Even when using CTS FIX directly, it is still possible to use the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed for the outright futures contracts.

It is not likely we are going to get to spread support for the CTS low-cost connection model for several months.

What needs to be changed to still be using the CTS FIX, but to take off the CTS low-cost connection model so I can do spreads..

You just need to set Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Service to CTS T4 FIX Trading.

This is all. You can switch to that service anytime you want.

Also in looking at NOB Spread, the top chart is NOB Spread in which I created manually and NOB Spread below is from the exchange traded symbol in Sierra Charts. The NOB spreads should look the same..

We would not expect them to be the same because there is going to be a variation of the data between these two different methods.

If you want to trade exchange traded spreads with CTS, follow the instructions here to get the spread symbols:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/CTS_T4.php#GettingAdditionalFuturesAndSpreadSymbols

Once you have a chart open for the spread you can just trade them just normally.

This NOB Spread chart from Sierra Charts Data, charts with no Y axis. Doesn't look anything close to what NOB Spread should look like.
Don't know if there is a setting awry.

Using a Line on Close Graph Draw Type, this is what we see for the NOB spread:

Make sure Chart >> Chart Settings >> Auto Set From Data Feed is enabled.

How do you get the y axis to match my manual charts y axis. Like to look at chart in price increments like it is in my manual charts.

Sierra Chart Engineering - Posts: 104368
According to the data from the exchange the price increment is .5/32 for the NOB spread.

And that is what you see on the price scale in this chart image:
http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1510097337403.png

Are you not able to get a scale like you see in the above chart image?

Yes Price increment changes by .5/32 but Nob Spread should be 3 Notes - Bonds, where Notes price is 125 5/32 and Bonds Price is 154 4/32. So 3*(125 5/32)- 154 4/32= =221 11/32= NOB Price. So axis should have 221 11/32 on it along with other 221 ' increments. Like manual chart attached..

The data you see is straight from the exchange. It must be correct.

We recommend contacting the CME for further help.

Since at this point I can only trade the exchange supported spreads on Sierra Charts with CTS T4 but not manually created synthetic spreads, I'm assuming I will need to get data from CTS so I can use CTS T4 platform directly to do manually created spreads. There are many spreads I would like to trade that are not listed as exchange traded spreads.

So does the CTS T4 platform let you do your own custom spreads?

And you are correct, you probably would need to get market data from CTS in that case.

Yes, they allow custom spreads. So probably will have to inquire with them on data, because i want to be able to do custom spreads. Looking forward to be able to do that on Sierra in future.

Beings that I going to have to get exchange data from Dorman instead of you, is there anything I am going to have to change in my settings or on Sierra platform settings for this?

@Sierra Chart Engineering, the documentation reference for GettingAdditionalFuturesAndSpreadSymbols from CTS shows a dropdown menu in the Find Symbol screen for 'Instance' used and CTS selected. In my FS menu, there isn't such thing, and I'm trying to find the symbol format for fut spreads in T4 (and possibly for T4 FIX). Please advise.

We are not providing support for CTS in regards to this. For trading futures spreads, use this service:
Sierra Chart / Trading Technologies Futures Order Routing Service

We still have to complete the conformance testing for spreads and we will have that done next week.

Thanks, this looks great! So in regard to futures spread symbols for this service, they will remain in a format like 'CLK19-CLM19.FUT_SPREAD.NYMEX' within SC?
