I trade cme futures. On my 1 minute charts my timing is behind by one minute. For instance opening time is 18:00 New York time. A 1 minute chart has the first bar at the 18:00 open showing as closing at 17:59 when it should show as closing 18:00. I run windows 10. My computer time is correct. The bars on the chart are the same as an Interactive Brokers chart just one minute behind. I use Sierra data. Thanks

We need to understand how you are coming to this conclusion.

Scroll the chart to this time and increase the spacing between the chart bars to make it more clear.

Provide an image of the chart or Trade DOM, by following these instructions:

Here on the one minute gold chart it is shown that the first bar of the open is at 17:59 and not 18:00 as it should be. Thanks

Make sure Sierra Chart is set to the US Eastern Time Zone:
Time Zone Setting

And check the Session Times in Chart >> Chart Settings:

Assuming there is not some other problem, re-download all the data in the chart by going to the chart and selecting "Edit >> Delete All Data and Download".

This problem is happening again. Previously when I asked the "Edit >> Delete All Data and Download" option solved the problem. Now this option is not working. Session times are as before and time zone is set to New York time.

this time when "Edit >> Delete All Data and Download" is selected there is a date and time range "confirm intraday data download for NGG18 starting 2018-01-02 16:43:00". Previously using "Edit >> Delete All Data and Download" there was no date and time. Maybe this makes a difference. Thanks

Charts are off by the amount of the time frame. For example, a 1 minute chart closes the day session at 16:59 instead of 15:00. A 10 minute chart closes the day session at 16:50 instead of 15:00. A 30 minute chart closes the day session at 16:30 instead of 15:00. That is the last bar of the day session shows the above times. On the evening open the first bar of a 1 minute chart closes at 18:00 instead of 18:01. On the evening open the first bar of a 10 minute chart closes at 18:00 instead of 18:10. On the evening open the first bar of a 30 minute chart closes at 18:00 instead of 18:30. Session times are as 00:00:00 to 23:59:59 and time zone is set to New York time. Previously when I used the "Edit >> Delete All Data and Download" option solved the problem. Now this option is not working. This time when "Edit >> Delete All Data and Download" is selected there is a date and time range "confirm intraday data download for example, NGG18 starting 2018-01-02 16:43:00" on a 1 minute chart. Previously using "Edit >> Delete All Data and Download" there was no date and time. Maybe this makes a difference. I am using the latest version of Sierra Chart. The problem happened on the latest version. Thanks

This is still not clear for us. But we are fairly sure there is a misunderstanding on your part.

It is best that you read through this particular section here about bar starting times:
Chart Session Times: Bar Starting Times

If you still have a question, then just explain one particular chart bar and how you come to the conclusion that its starting and ending time is not correct.

And post an image of the chart showing that particular chart bar following these instructions here:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=PostingInformation.php#Image

What we want you to do is press the up arrow key on your keyboard to increase the chart bar spacing significantly, so that we can see the bar clearly and the timestamp below it on the timescale.
