Compact tool value windows issue

Good morning, I have activated on my charts the CTV through --> window --> show compact tool value window and then through Global settings --> tool settings I have ticked "save CTV windows position for each chart" in order to save each CTV and get it always in the same position. The problem is that every time I launch my platform, even though I have put the tick on "save CTV windows position for each chart" the CTV is shown randomly in the chart and I have to place it back where I want it to be. The same problem (but not every time) happens when I open other apps on my computer (such as firefox, chrome etc) and then replace back the SC windows. There is a way to fix the CTV forever where I want? Another thing I'd like to know is if it's possible to select what shown on the CTV. I mean, through --> chart --> chart settings --> Advanced settings --> "settings", I've already chosen the main option, but I'd like to avoid the "Y" value and the Date/time from the CTV in order to have just the "OHLC" values. Is there a way to obtain that? Thanks for your time, Fabio. |

This may be a system issue in which case we cannot resolve this. Do you use multiple monitors? Refer to: Window Size and Position Not Restored When Opening Chartbook We are also going to do some testing. but I'd like to avoid the "Y" value and the Date/time from the CTV in order to have just the "OHLC" values. No, these cannot be removed.

We have done some work related to the saving and restoring of the position of the Compact Tool Values Window. Not sure if it would help in your case. This is in the latest release.
