Hi. I’m getting the following message when placing an order from the chart. It says “error creating the trade window”. And then I’m unable to place the order from the chart but I can still place it with the dom. Could you help me fix that. Thanks.

The root of this problem is due to limitations within the Windows operating system.

Do you have a lot of charts open? Do you have more than one Chartbook open?

Yes I have a lot of charts and chartbooks open. I didn’t change the amount of charts however and I wasn’t having this problem before. Is there a fix for this?

Try enabling this option and then restart Sierra Chart:
General Settings Window: Destroy Chart Windows when Hidden (Global Settings >> General Settings >> GUI >> Application GUI)
