I think the best way to ask this is by giving an example... Lets use the zigzag tool for this example... Instead of comparing to [-x] bars ago.. I'm wondering if there is a way to make it look back at [-high/low] of the zig zag... or any other study that outputs in a similar way? An easy example would be.. if the current zig zag high is lower than the last... independent of how many bars are there? Or doing it with fractals etc... referencing the previous regardless of how many bars are there? Hope that makes sense
