SC:

I can't get the spacing to stay right between each 2 tick renko with wicks bar when I have the chart setting not set to candlestick but to blank and then the Vol X Price study on the chart. The chart does not leave any space between each bar sometimes and then sometimes it does.

What am I doing wrong?

You just need to adjust the bar spacing as required:

I know how to adjust the spacing using the left or right arrow key, but if the VxP is set to multiple profiles fixed to time and the time is 7 minutes for the VxP study but the chart is a 2 tick renko chart with wicks then as the chart is updated sometimes the spacing is lost and each seperate VxP will overlap as shown in the link posted above and again below.

I don't want to have to manually keep adjusting the spacing which is what I am having to do now.

What can I do to fix this situation?

How is this Input with the Volume by Price study set:
Volume By Price Study: Maximum Volume Bar Width Type

And what is the percentage set to?

It is set to period length.

And what is the percentage set to?

It is set to 40

If you want, I will send you that chart and you can see what I see and scroll it back and forth after adjusting the settings. All you have to do is tell me where to send it.

It makes complete sense you are seeing overlap with 8 pixel spacing. If you want to use 8 pixel spacing you are going to have overlap and there is not anything we can do to help with that.

What you are seeing is simply based on definitive facts. Increase the spacing between the chart bars or lower the 40 percent.

Actually thinking about this some more, you really need to increase the bar spacing, and increase the percentage width as well.

SC: Yep. I kinda noticed that. Still when I do this and have the chart set to the above settings, I get overlapping profiles when I scroll back.
