I have read several support threads regarding the accuracy of the tick data used by Sierra. I use IB as a broker and am also noticing large discrepancies. I am wondering if there is a way to use the IB data for tick rather than the sierra tick data. thanks, Lenny |

We are 110 percent convinced through careful study, that the Sierra Chart provided TICK calculations are absolutely perfect. You should question what the others are providing. It is the others who are providing faulty data at times. That has become abundantly clear. I looked at the IB symbols thread that you provided, but do not see a tick symbol. Can you provide me the specific IB tick symbol that I need to use. Thanks, Lenny |

The symbol uses the standard Interactive Brokers Index symbol format. This is what you want to use: TICK-NYSE-IND-NYSE But you may have problems with this symbol. We have heard about it in the past. The statistics Sierra Chart delivers are rocksolid and are not going to give you any trouble. If you have problems with this other symbol, we will not help at all with it.
