Teletrader Data issue

I'm using Teletrader Data Service to get realtime Dax- and Nasdaq Index and Sektor data. Dax data is working fine, with Nasdaq data there seems to be a problem since a few days. It does show the realtime data at the right-side scale / Last Trade Price Box, but it doesn't draw the bar. I have not changed anything. Did work fine before. |

If you reconnect to the data feed, do the bars then appear? After reconnect the missing data appears (historical data is downloaded) but then again the bar is not drawn. Please see the attached video for the behaviour. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2017-06-21 15:56:44

We think the problem is that there is not last trade sizes or a timestamp being provided and that is what is leading to the problem. We have made some code changes which should work around this. We are now releasing version 1573. It will be out in a few minutes. When it is out update with Help >> Download Prerelease. The problem with the Tele Trader data feed, you can also verify this through Window >> Current Quote Window , is they are not sending through last trade sizes/quantities for the NASDAQ. You should let them know about this. We have released another revision of 1573 which is able to fill in the intraday volume and work around this issue, but they really do need to fix this. I've sent Teletrader the link to this thread. Here is their answer: We assume the topic discussed on the forum is most likely related to the latest release of the TeleTrader Market Data Server that occurred during the weekend.
Namely, with this release, Quote response and Subscription response have been changed for some data feeds and are now sending volume fids (F_VOLUME, F_BID_VOLUME,F_ASK_VOLUME) as doubles instead of integers. As you may or may not know, the fids in the fid list can have different types. We will never extend this list with new, unknown fid types, but it is possible that types will vary (which is what happened with the latest release over the weekend). I would advise you check the implementation that handles the fid types on your side, as we expect this is the root of the problem. Also note that volumes in the time series responses will never be changed, so you should not experience any issues with the historic quotes. (Judging by the comments on the forum, you already noticed that there are no issues with the historic data).
