I noticed the last 2 days there are differences with real time data when deleting and reloading again on tick charts. I know about the time clock things and so on and so forth, I have set an NTP server and working brilliantly, but during the last year the RT data feed was exactly the same when I was deleting and reloading and I had the impression that you timestamp the data yourself. however, From yesterday I noticed that change both in Eurex and CME. That's why I am asking, since I was so much satisfied with your data service.

Thank you!

There are no changes. Do you see a [M] after these symbols at the top of the chart?

All time stamping is from the exchange.

Yes I See the M and everything works fine except that packet loss thing. We had the same discussion almost 2,5 years ago and then I had moved to IQfeed. you said that you were about to invest in servers to avoid that. Once you emailed me 18 months ago that you had fixed it I came back to sierra feed and since then there was no packet loss and I was very impressed and happy with the feed. But during the last 2 trading days its pretty obvious in my charts. ie the tick bars looks different once i hit delete and redownload. When I say different I mean small differences that didn't use to happen. apart from that everything works fine ie minute charts.
I am asking because it really worked excellent for the last 18 months.

Yesterday there was zero percent packet loss and it is zero percent about 99 percent of the time. It is a rare occasion that there is some loss. And it would be minor.

There was some minor packet loss around 10 AM US Eastern time today probably related to some additional data on the network connection from testing we started in the morning with the new OpenFeed stock data, and the small differences with historical data were already resolved between the servers.

At the time you made your first posting, that was around 4 AM US Eastern time. Much earlier than 10 AM.

We do not think this has anything to do with packet loss because that is very rare to occur. And it was not occurring at the mentioned times.
