I know your policy is that you don't do custom programming. I had a developer who is more of an MetaTrader 4 programmer convert and MT4 indicator to a Sierra Charts study. The study works, in fact in works pretty well, but it seems to not be efficient. It works well on some simple charts but seems to take a long time to load on other charts. I'm hoping one of your programmers can take a look and find (and fix) any inefficiencies. I've seen about a dozen requests on your support board and on other forums to have this indicator converted. I would be happy to share this study with others, even put it on your list of user studies if you prefer. I've attached the study. Thanks for considering my request. |

I noticed the new functionality that displays a time next to each study on a chart. For the usual studies I see from 0-12 ms. For this custom study, I loaded and it showed over 17000 ms. I reset one of the input variables and the time went to 55000ms.

The study is clearly very inefficient based on those times. Also the DLL is not of any use at all to anyone in order to find a problem with it. The actual source code is what is needed.
