When I select NISS-NYSE for a symbol and try and open up and intraday chart it flashes non-stop and will never stop

Do you mean you notice a flicker of the chart graphics when it is updating?

This should never happen.

Thanks for your response, the chart does not flicker, the entire chart blinks continuously and seems to never fully load. The heading flashes between 1min 15min and 30min. pretty weird

This is due to a circular reference. In newer versions of Sierra Chart this will be detected and stopped. You are running an older version of Sierra Chart. You can update with Help >> Download Current Version.

How can I get my charts to flash? Would be good to have them flash based on an alert condition.

You cannot. You have a misunderstanding about what the user is describing.

You can use ACSIL to change the background color of the chart.

I understood what the user was saying. It just made me curious as to if there was a way to programmatically achieve this inside ACSIL.
