1. If I want to put the Daily Change on a chart in text format in the upper left corner of a chart, what is the best way to do that?

2. Another idea is to put the info last, high, low, and dly change in the lower left corner of the Trading Dom since that area is currently blank. You could put the Last, High, Low, Dly Change and Volume down there. In a format as:

Last: 50.20
High: 50.40
Low: 49.09
D Chg: -01.37
Vol: 37,295

Then you could give the trader the choice of which, if any, of the above data he / she
would like to have displayed in the lower left area of their trading dom for that symbol.

How would you recommend I do this?

Thanks in advance.

1. You need to add the Daily Net Change Chart Header field:
Working With Charts: Region Data Line / Chart Header

2. Eventually this will be added.

What times are used to calculate the daily net change? I would like to use the globex open to the globex close for the daily change. For example, the CL future opens at 18:00 eastern time and closes at 17:00 eastern the next day. How do I get the daily net change to reflect that change in the daily net change field?

Thanks in advance.

Refer to Daily Change here:

How do I get the daily net change to reflect that change in the daily net change field?
You cannot because the CME does not do it this way.

But there is another way. It requires the use of several studies. We will see if we can put together an example.

Have you put together an example that you mentioned in the post above?

Also, per this link... Getting Quotes: Field Descriptions Your website reads : Daily Change: The Daily Change is the difference between the Last trade price and the Settlement Price. Refer to the Settlement Price description for an understanding of what the Settlement Price is.

When I go to the CME site to get yesterdays settlement and the subtract / add it to the current price for the daily change, the difference is not the same as what I am seeing on the chart for the daily change. For example, 124.975 is the settlement for LE, in the live cattle future. But, the daily change is calculating the daily change at -2.100 for the last price of 122.975. Shouldn't the daily change be 2.000 at that point? Why is it 2.100?

Thanks in advance.

You will need to contact the Data/Trading service you are using about the question in post #5. It must be a problem with a Settlement Price being provided by them.

We have updated the documentation about this here:
Getting Quotes: Field Descriptions

Refer to the updated description for Daily Change.

We are not going to be able to get to the example. We do not have time to do that now.
