Decimal point error

Hi,

I'm running automated strategy in Sierra.
Unfortunately after connection to the server is lost then later after reconnecting the strategy start to calculate wrong values. It seems like move the decimal point to the left. Lets say multiple with 1000.I'm sending to you also screenshots.

Disable Chart >> Chart Settings >> Main Settings >> Auto Set From Data Feed.

And press the Apply Global Symbol Settings button, also in Chart Settings.

Hi,unfortunately the error still persists. It happened few hours age again!

Why do you say there is a decimal point error?

We do not see any obvious problem from any of the screenshots you provided in post #3. Would be best just to post one only and highlight the problem you currently have. The original screenshots in post #1 are not relevant if you are not having that exact same issue.

I face still the same error like the one from 2017-05-05 09:11:51 post!

You answered:
Disable Chart >> Chart Settings >> Main Settings >> Auto Set From Data Feed.

And press the Apply Global Symbol Settings button, also in Chart Settings.


I made all the settings like you advised to me and started the strategy new. Few hours ago the same error! -Connection lost and after reconnected the strategy move the decimal point to the left!

Pls. let my know if this is now clear for you?

If you see this on the chart, then post an image of a chart showing this by following these instructions:

Do not use any other method to post an image of the chart.

And tell us where on the chart you are seeing this.

Also it is not possible for the Value Format to change automatically if not using the Auto Set From Data Feed option, and makes no sense why such a thing would happen. So there must be some kind of misunderstanding.

Why do you say "seems". Where precisely in the chart are you seeing this? Or precisely where else? At this point we do not know what you are describing.

If the Value Format setting in Chart >> Chart Settings is changing when there is a reconnect to the data feed, then this is caused by your own custom study changing the value of sc.BaseGraphValueFormat.

So it is your own code changing it. This is something you need to resolve.
