I am evaluating SC as a potential platform for algotrading options. I currently have account with TD Ameritrade Questions 1.Does SC allow option trading with TD Ameritrade? 2. What is dataformat for Options? 3. How do I find option symbols? Thanks in advance |

1. Yes, but we do not think this is going to work properly with TD Ameritrade because the TD Ameritrade API server is not going to provide options data based on feedback. At least not the historical data. 2, 3. This is only practical choice for stock options trading. Thank you so if I understand it correctly, I will not be able to backtest the strategy right? but can I still place orders on options using proper symbols? |

We do not recommend TD Ameritrade for options trading. We think you will have problems. We recommend using Interactive Brokers instead.
