Hi there,

Which version are you referring to, the Period OHLC, Daily OHLC, or Weekly OHLC, and if you're only looking for the daily OHLC then why are you using the "Period" version? I use the Period OHLC to plot monthly levels and it does what it's supposed to do. For weekly and daily levels I use the other two.

i have been using this for all periods i look at month , week day , as i like the way it extends out , either way somethings funky with it as u can see , shouldnt matter what i use it for , most of the time it does work fine , just for some reason it will do this few times out of the week .

There is definitely nothing wrong.

Refer to the documentation for the Forward Project OHLC Lines Input here:

Explain to us in detail, what you fail to understand about the documentation we linked to in post #5 in regards to the specific Input mentioned. You should have no trouble understanding what is written for that particular Input. We have done additional updates.

For your information, we cannot spend further time on this. This is marked as a user discussion.

Hi there,

The problem you are having seems to be created by the "Forward Projecting" of the OHLC lines. From what I can see, and you can verify this by watching this study in replay, is that the OHLC lines can only be a maximum length which corresponds to the length of the session. So when you forward project the lines, that "forward projection line length" is added to the length of the forming OHLC line (included as part of the session and not over and above) and once it reaches it's maximum length (session length), even though the session hasn't closed, it changes value to the next session which is today's session from yesterday's. The only way you can get round this is if you don't use forward projection or if SC includes an option for which session it is applied to. You can see what is taking place in the two attached images:

We do not see a problem:
http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1496193132880.png

Any analysis of specific cases are chargeable at 75 USD per hour.

We are 110 percent certain there is no problem here.

Refer to the documentation for the Forward Project OHLC Lines Input here:
http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/StudiesReference.php&ID=294#Period_OHLC-Variable_Period

Also the screenshot posted in post number #16 is useless to us. There is no way from our perspective we can have any comprehension of that.

The documentation for the study makes reference to using the Line at Last Bar to Edge Draw Style but we see it is not working for the study.

We will look into why and resolve that.

not sure whats unclear in the picture it clearly shows that last months close is on the close of the last candle , so sierra is plotting prev months close on last day of this month instead of waiting till the first , but im glad you found the issue

There is no issue. Never has been. We have not found anything. No changes have been made.

In regards to this, you are not even using this particular Draw Style and it is unrelated.

This issue is now resolved in the latest version 1564. It only happened under certain conditions.
