Hi, I am trying to figure out how to open this downloaded CHT file I got off the support board. It is setup for /ES TPO chart. I followed the directions here:
http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/Chartbooks.html#UsingChartbookProvidedBySierraChartSupport

but when I open the link it is a blank page not sure what I am doing wrong

I attatched the two cht files I tried to upload. Any help would be great. Thanks

We added step 7 here which explains that the chart symbols need to be changed to match the particular Data/Trading service you are using.

I still cant get it to work. I have entered the /ES futures contract, it just pulls up the regular bar chart, not the TPO that is the download.

Just to be clear, I entered ES-201706-GLOBEX which is the ticker for /ES for Interactive brokers, which I currently have connected to SC.

Ok I managed to get it to work after re-downloading the files.
How do I zoom in and out on the TPO chart?

We see you are using Interactive Brokers. Follow the instructions here to change the symbol of the chart:
http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SwitchingSymbols.html

The symbol is going to be ES-201706-GLOBEX

Yes thanks, not sure if you saw my last message that I got the TPO downloads to work by re-downloading the files. I had the right ticker symbol entered.

Struggling now how for an easy way to zoom in/out and to expand the profile for a better view. Havent had a lot of time to play around with it yet though

I figured that out. What Im struggling with is how to move up and down on the page. Cant see the bottoms of the TPO's when they get long. Also zooming in and out is rather hard with the zoom tool, is there an easier way. Maybe I just need to get used to it.

We do not think you should use the Zoom tool. There are better ways.

You need to use Interactive Scale Range:
http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/Scaling.html#InteractiveScalingExpandCompress

And change the bar spacing:

Ok back to not being able to open the CHT file. Not sure how I did it the first time. But Im going to open chart book and clicking on Jim Dalton.cht file and then it gives me a blank screen. When I change the ticker symbol to ES-201706-GLOBEX it just pulls up the regular line chart. Im not sure why this is so difficult.

The CHT file Im referring to is a TPO chart, that is what Im trying to upload and expect to see. I successfully opened it last week, but did not save because I did not think I'd have an issue opening it again. Here is a screenshot, hopefully that can tell you what Im doing wrong, because I can not figure it out.

Thanks
Ryan

Looking at the screenshot now, what it does not show is this is the chartbook tab of cht file upload I tried, labeled dalton. The same one that is attached to my OP of this thread. Again Im not sure what I am not doing correctly to open the file correctly, that chart should be a TPO chart. Do I need to set up the TPO chart before I upload the cht file?

It appears as though you did not open that particular Chartbook. We have opened it and updated the symbol to the Interactive Brokers symbol.

It is attached.

Follow the instructions here to use it:

The answer to this is no:
