"Apply Global Symbol Settings" not working

Using 1112. 1) Open a new intraday chart of AAPL, which uses 9:30 - 15:59 2) Type "QCL" to load the crude oil contract, which has 9:00 - 14:29 defined 3) Look at chart settings, and note that AAPL times still loaded. Click "Apply Global Symbol Settings." Predefined QCL times not loaded. If I open a new chart of QCL, times are correct; but I am unable to do this as described above. I do not think it should depend on the global setting for applying symbol settings, as this is used to automatically change the time when the symbol is changed. If the "Apply Global Symbol Settings" button cannot be used to manually apply a new time to a chart, and the other alternative is to automatically apply it, then what is its purpose? So, I would conclude that this is an error and not intended behavior. |
