Zigzag Study - Duration (# of bars) between Reversal Prices not working

Hello, Please look at attached image. I am trying to plot # of days elapsed between the high and low swing of zigzag study. Even when the option is turned on, the study displays 0 value. Let me know if I am missing anything here. Thanks |

Thanks a lot Al. If the bar duration is going to provide time elapsed between the swing price, then please add the following attributes to zigzag 1. # of Bars between the swing 2. % change in reversal price 3. Slope - Points per bar Thanks |

Hello Al, SC Developer I just downloaded the 1013 update and was very excited to see the duration value for Zigzag being displayed. But I am not pleased with the value calculation. On a daily chart or any bar chart, shouldnt the Duration show # of bars elapsed between the zigzag swing ? Take a look at the chart attached...The value marked in yellow is the actual value which different than what zigzag displays. May be I am not understanding what is meant by the duration here. The duration is in days. Another user asked for Number of Bars, which will be added in an upcoming version.

Thanks Al. Have you looked at my previous chart ? I have a daily chart with zigzag on it with duration option. Would you please take a look why the zigzag number is not matching the # of trading days ? Are you counting weekend days as well ? For historical chart, I dont see the option to load weekend data enabled in chart settings. |

When available, ver 1014 will have new option to display number of bars for ZZ.

Al SC Developer, Thanks for the changes. I can now see the # of bars between high and low of zigzag swing. But these newly added attributes are not being written to spreadsheet study. The new subgraph will be exposed in ver 1016, similar to how reversal price and line length are today.
