[Locked] - How to use .cpp extension

Hello ,

Please ,when i open custom studies file ,there are files with .cpp extension in ACS_source, and when i choose one extension and try to open it ,it's open Notepad++ with a formula with .h extension !how to do for opening the studie in chart !

Are you using Analysis >> New/Open Custom Studies File?

Could you update to the latest prerelease following the instructions here:

Are you still experiencing the problem with the latest version?

We simply cannot reproduce the problem. When we select Analysis >> New/Open Custom Studies File and select an existing file name with a CPP extension or enter a new filename without any extension, the file is properly opened with a CPP extension.

Hello, i am also having the same problem. I followed all the instructions above, but when i select one of the Custom studies it opens it up with notepad and i can't see the chart.

You don't open the .cpp files.

First open a chart,

then select,

Analysis>Studies>Add Custom Studies>Sierra Chart Custom Studies and Examples

And select which studies to apply to your chart with the "Add" button.
