Look below for the release, that perhaps, impacted this setting. Not sure - but below is the problem -

Individual DOMs, when made to make more columns visible and saved - it keep going back to 3 column default setting when the next time the chartbook is opened.

I tried doing it with both - the Global settings and Trade - menu bars to customise Trade DOMs and it still does not save the visible columns that were added to the DOM the last time it was open and saved.

Please - this is imp. This is disturbing the existing set up.

Update to version 1521 with Help >> Download Prerelease.

We have confirmed this is not an issue in that release.

Although we can see you are running that version unless you just updated.

Let us know if you are having a problem with version 1521.

This is still a problem with release 1776 (and 1779). This is very disturbing and a waste of time to have to re-configure the columns EVERY time.

There must be a misunderstanding on your part. This problem definitively does not exist. Make sure you save your charts as a Chartbook and open that same Chartbook to restore the previous layout and configuration.

The order entry and market data column configuration is specific to each individual chart.

i want to be able to open a new trade dom for a specific chart and have it configured correctly with the columns i want, aligned correctly, and volume bars turned on. In my version of the software it doesn’t happen that way. please tell me where to set the default setup for trade dom columns to my preferences so i do not have to go through this every time.

This is explained here:
Using Chart Templates

On an existing Trading DOM, you need to use Chart >> Duplicate Chart.
