Hi,

can someone please help me out. I just dont get it to work. Maybe I am overcomplicating things.

What is the easiest way to accomplish the following:

1) Get e.g. the low price of an instrument of 3 days ago etc?

2) How to get an value from an indicator: e.g. 10 day ATR of a stock or future?

I dont need any charts so just some simple calculations in the spreadsheets. So it would be great if I would not need to open a chart at the same time...

Thanks for your help and best regards,
Chris

Really the easiest way of doing this is to have a separate Historical Daily chart open for the symbol. Add the Average True Range study to that chart.

And then use the Study/Price Overlay study to overlay the data from that chart to the chart you are using with the Spreadsheet study:

Thanks for your quick reply!

I opened a chart and added the ATR and then the Spreadsheet Study and it gives the same result or am I overseeing anything here? Or did you mean the spreadsheet study?

We originally misunderstood what you want to do.

If you want to get data from a chart into a Spreadsheet, you need to use the Spreadsheet Study. And you will need to add that to the chart we described in post #2. Here is the relevant documentation:

No need to use the Study/Price Overlay study mentioned. That was based upon a misunderstanding.
