Hi,

The more and more I use Sierra Charts, the more gems I find. I recently started using Study Collections (A big time saver), and I have built many Study Collections and i can see the benefits of building more. The only issue i see, is organizing them.

Would it be possible to sub folder them in the drop down menu?

ie. Analysis -> Sub Folder -> Study Collections

That way you could organize them by time frame, products, sessions, indicators, in unlimited ways...

You can create up to 32 Study Collection Control Bar buttons and associate them with a specific Study Collection:
http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/ControlBar.php#ControlBarStudyCollectionButtons

Then you can customize these buttons by changing color and text:
http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/ControlBar.php#ControlBarButtonProperties

So for example you can add "(timeframe) - ", "(product) - " or any other prefix before the name and organize them.

What you are looking for is not supported.

We could add more Control Bar buttons if that would help.

It looks like a nice feature but unless I missed something, it may need updated.

1) The directions says,

In the list of Available Control Bar Commands under the Study Collections list, you will find 32 buttons starting with the name Study Collection #. Add one of these buttons. Any of them will work.

http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/ControlBar.php#ControlBarStudyCollectionButtons

It is now under -> Tools - Advanced Custom Study Buttons and there are 50 buttons. It was a but confusing to find.

2) In the Customize Control Bar, the Customize... Button is missing. Please see attached pic.. ty,

It seems you have old version of Sierra Chart. Update to the latest version by following these instructions:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/download.php#FastUpdate

And then you will see Study Collection Buttons in the list.

Works great! Anyway to have the button hide that individual study when pressed, then unhide it, if pressed again... Just an idea :)

Thanks again for all your work.
