Unable to change a Gain order today

I had the Gain order desk cancel the order and then I was able to enter and modify it.
Will in Gain customer service says the issue is known to Sierra Chart and only came up this week and Sierra Chart is working on it.
True?
What should I do to prevent recurrence?

This is what Gain Capital has said about this:
We are going to revert the FIX order server tonight during our maintenance period (between 5-6 EST) to the previous version on both SIM and Prod. We will then further test. The significant issue related to modified orders should be resolved at that point.
