Hi. I use a numbers bar chart without a filter. I also have a numbers bar chart with a filter. I have them linked with bar spacing, bar period, and scroll position but they don't always line up when I use the lock fill space. Plus they're on 2 separate charts which I'd rather not have. Is there a way to have these on the same chart? Can I put the numbers bar chart with a filter on another region of my chart without the filter? Please advise. Thanks.

They cannot be in the same chart.

However, it is possible for the Numbers Bars Calculated Values study to reference another chart with different filter settings:

Ok. I have both charts setup but the numbers - calculated values study is displaying 0's. I've attached an image. I put 'yes' for reference other chart and I put the chart number for the chart with the filter. They are both on 4 tick reversal bars. Can you help?

No, you want to make sure that is unchecked.

We need to look into this. Could you please provide your Chartbook following these instructions:

If I uncheck it then the output is all 0's. I've attached the chartbook.

We have had a look at this.

What we have determined is that the source chart, the one with the volume filtering, needs to also have the Numbers Bars Calculated Values study on it in order for it to maintain the necessary data arrays which are relied upon by the destination chart.

We are going to update the documentation to explain this.

I did that and it started to work fine but now it's gone back to displaying 0's. I have no idea how to fix it. I've attached the chartbook. Can you take a look please?

We cannot see any reason why there would be a problem and we do see the data:
http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1481058578660.png

Do you see the nonzero values when you select Chart >> Recalculate?

Also do not provide another Chartbook, the Chartbook you are providing is too complex for us to work with. This is the second time we have had to go through and clean it up in order for us to see what we need. It is too involved.
