Will it be possible to paste DDE links into the new spreadsheet functionality ? DDE is widely used in finance and an implementation would allow SC chart to interface with dozens of other apps. Ideally we could specify Data/Trade Service settings to receive DDE quotes into a UART buffer which would write into a SCID (presume at the chart update frequency**.) I presume you have seen something similar on multiple-other-charting-software where each trade value can be assigned from a DDE source ? edit: Right now SC has a 40ms minimal chart update frequency. Seeing as 1000/40=25 then is it not reasonable to expect 25 intervals of real resolution per second at the tick level? I saw on another thread that you have some new code regarding milliseconds, so I don't know if this is relevant, but if it is then I think a 40ms quantization "compromise" is workable. No. We would not support DDE. That is totally out of date and Windows specific. It is not even reliable the last time we looked at it more than a decade ago.
