1) Verify that InfinityAT or Sierra can provide an accurate NYSE Tick feed (in other platforms, this is typically symboled as $TICK). It “appears” to be TICK-NYSE which I found in my own investigation. You previously supplied me with TISS-NYSE and that’s completely un-related (Issues). However, the readings I’m getting especially for today do not make sense. The NYSE Tick was below 0 for most of the day and on my chart, it’s oscillating to positive figures that simply don’t correlate. I understand that Tick data is never the same across all providers but the symbol I’m using really appears to be quite off… Need this investigated and clarified.

2) Been asking for the analog NYSE Advanced Decline line also - this is # issues advancing in price vs. declining and is typically symboled as $ADD. Even stranger, there is an Advanced Decline Line study but this is entirely irrelevant because this is one of those market internals. Please advise - both 1 & 2 are key items

3) I am getting some strange behavior on the daily volume profiles I’m attempting to apply (on the same chart) daily… order to extend POC into the following day as well as High/Low value area lines.

Two things that stand out (and it’s probably my fault although I don’t know how to fix it) is that the current charts are being drawn with Ticks per Volume Bar = 5 and there is no way to adjust that value to 1; secondly, I’m not sure the value range is truly representing 1 standard deviation. It appears to be set to 70% (which is not 1std) and there doesn’t appear to be a way to enter a fractional value into that attribute on the settings.

1. Refer to this article about this:
Article about Sierra Chart Market Statistics and their Accuracy

We have confidence in what we offer for market statistics, and we know that the US equities data feed used to build the statistics is a good data feed.

We want to make it very clear that we have nothing further to say in this regard. If the market statistics Sierra Chart offers do not meet your requirements, then do not use them.

2. Here is a documentation for that study:
