cant download new version

Im new to this but not It illiterate, ive tried everything, it wont update the latest version, short of uninstalling it is there a way to get the latest version please. i have looked through the help , it fails on every way i install it. ( get error messages , cant connect to host on the install) thanks |

Definitely do not uninstall. That is not necessary and is only going to make matters worse. If there is an error message, then use the button on the installer program to send the log to support. How did you send the Sierra Chart installer log? We do not see it. Anyway, it looks as though there is a firewall blocking the connection. Disable any firewall software on your computer. The Windows firewall does not need to be disabled and is not a problem. Actually, we understand now why we do not see the installer log is because the firewall is blocking sending even that. ok, i now see , my AVG was blocking it without actually asking me ? weird , thank you ,might be a add on for your support to check AVG or virus checking firewall. it did an update and some reason blocked it .. very strange, thanks guys , you are most helpful and quick to respond, very much appreciated !
