Customizing DOM Buttons (location on form)?

I have noticed that the DOM looks different with different brokers.
Why? Who designs them? Where are the missing buttons on one version on the other version (let's say TransAct vs. AMP Futures version)?

There is a dangerous flaw in the design of the DOM.
The "account" selection dropdown is right above the FLATTEN and REVERSE.
If you are not VERY careful, you could very easily make an accidental trade when switching accounts.
I'd like to change the design of the form.

Also, there are things on the TransAct that are missing with AMP.

How do we customize the DOM, I cannot find it in the software.

Please advise.

This is not true. They are the same:

The confusion is that the TransAct DOM is not from Sierra Chart. It is their own.

To prevent accidental trades, you need to enable order confirmations. Refer to:

Here is the relevant documentation for customizing the Chart/Trade DOM:

Please create a fully customizable (put the buttons where they are most useful to you), DOM. Thank you.

With confirmations, when does the order actually go in? As soon as you click the confirmation? Is the order sent where the market is currently sitting, or where it was when you first hit the button when the confirmation popped up? In other words, how do you determine the price when using confirmations?

Thank you

Implementing customization is very difficult but that is something we do plan to some extent on the compact tab the Trade Window.

The order is submitted immediately after you press Yes on the confirmation window. In the case where the order is using the bid or ask price, it is going to be those prices just before the confirmation.
