I couldnt flatten my position

I shorted $HOG today and it didnt feel right so I decided to flatten. Everytime I pushed flatten I noticed it bought 100 shares of $HOG. How could this happen?

We see you are using Interactive Brokers. This is a current problem we are aware of: When an IB execution message is received from Trader Workstation which indicates an order fill, the Total Filled Quantity field is zero which leads to the following issues: - An overfill error occurs. - The fill is not logged. This also affects any profit/loss calculations which depend on this. - The internal position quantity is not immediately updated and will be updated eight seconds later. IB said they had fixed the issue in TWS but I would like to find out if Sierra chart has had any further instances like this lately? Thanks for your service! |

No, there are no further problems with this and the latest versions of Sierra Chart also have a patch to prevent any problem when the Total Filled Quantity order field is not set.
