Hi

I have couple of queries and a simple suggestion.

1. I use volume threshold study. The setting which I have done is for 100 volume threshold. I have attached herewith the screenshot (white boxes) wherein you can see that even when the volume was above 100, many a times the yellow diamond was not there on the candle corresponding to it. Why it didn't plot? Am I missing anything?

2. I have a request for a simple and very easy indicator (if possible in next release) of couples of lines of codes which gives VOLUME by NUMBER OF TRADES for a bar/candle (an output that can be plotted). I can see the output from the study "Number Bars Calculated Values" but it cant be plotted and I tried different ways to do it but failed!

3. When "Market Depth Historical Graph" data can be saved i.e. remains plotted even after restarting Sierra Chart, why the data of "Bid & Ask Depth Bars" study which is similar, goes away? Is there any way to save it or you are planning something which makes it remain plotted even after restarting SC?

Thanks!

1. This might be an indication that the Volume at Price data is missing for those bars.

Add the Numbers Bars study to the chart:
Numbers Bars

After this post an image of the chart again. Follow this method the post an image of the chart:

2. This will be added to the next release.

3. We will add to our task list to modify the "Bid & Ask Depth Bars" study to use the historical market depth data.

Hi

Thanks for 2 & 3 points!

For 1st point, I still have a doubt because with various datafeeds and on different bar types, I can still see the missing data!
Infact you can try using a 500/1000 volume chart with alert threshold as 500/1000. You should see the alert on every bar. But its not!
