everytime I load a new Chart Symbol and Tick Size

I would I like to keep my tick size permanently under Chart > Chart Settings. So whenever I change to a new stock symbol the tick size will always be 0.05 Regards, |

If you want this tick size for all stock symbols then change it through Global Settings >> Symbol Settings for the symbol patterns like ???. Refer to: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/GlobalSymbolSettings.php If you want it only for specific stocks, then add the specific stock symbol into the Global Symbol Settings. I actually want to change tick size for all symbols. Even new tickers I come across in the future. Momentum stocks. I won't have time to add the symbol to Symbol Settings list.

Like I mentioned earlier. I don't have time to add new symbols to stock symbol list. is there a way to change the tick size for every stock in the nasdaq and nyse. for a particular window? The link you have provided does not show this information.

I want the tick size to be 0.05, not 0.01. So when i type in a new stock symbol throughout the trading day, the tick size of 0.05 will be set. Example, I see OCUL moving using my stock screener. I type in /OCUL. This new stock symbol will have the setting of 0.05 Tick size already applied to it. I don't want to go to stock symbol, add OCUL to this list and modify the tick size. This process will slow down my trading, considering I trade momentum stocks. |
