Daily OHLC value different to Intraday OHLC

I have observed that the daily OHLC values are different to the intraday (60min chart) OHLC.

The system seems to calculate the Close value based on the 9pm close instead of the Midnight close. This is resulting in OHLC being diffeernet for intraday and daily candles.

Historical Daily charts will never use a midnight close. Assuming you are referring to New York time.

Yes New York Close time.

Does that mean that a daily close when viewed in UK, will always be different from GMT daily close? If thats the case it can mean the charts have not adjusted logically to time zones.

Not helpful for analysis. Since other charting packages synch better.

It does not matter where you view the charts and it does not matter what your Time Zone setting in Sierra Chart is and it does not matter what charting package you are using. Historical Daily data is data which originates from the external data or trading service you are using. It is that simple.

Sierra Chart does not control the session times for Historical Daily data. Neither can you.

If you do want to control the session times, you need to use an Intraday chart. For instructions, refer to this section here:
