Hi, When I open my main instance and open 2 chartbooks, everything is fine. When I open a new instance so that I can move one of the chart books to a separate monitor, that new instance never saves my changes. How to fix this? Also, When I put date separators on my chart, they have dont plot correctly. For example, my monthly separator is plotting on 9/18 and says 11/16. So not only is it not in the proper place, but labeled incorrectly. I am sure it is a setting that I dont have set properly. One plotted on 9/1 but then another plotted again on 9/18, thats the one labeled 11/16. Keep in mind this is on a 25000 volume intraday chart. Thank you.

Each instance of Sierra Chart has its own copy of Chartbooks, global settings and chart data. They are all totally separate from each other.

When I put date separators on my chart, they have dont plot correctly. For example, my monthly separator is plotting on 9/18 and says 11/16.
How exactly are you doing this for a chart?

What you are looking at is a vertical line at the time of a futures contract rollover in a continuous futures contract chart.

It displays the contract month and year:
