To compare multiple symbols on a chart using or lay bar study is a multi step process. In my other software it takes one extra click to compare multiple symbols. Is thete a more efficient way to compare symbols on a chart in SC? |

How would this one extra click work in the other program? Also when you set up the overlay studies they can be set up as a Study Collection and applied and removed from a chart very easily. 1. In the other program,when a new symbol is typed on the chart, a small window appears giving two options MAIN SYMBOL SYMBOL ON TOP If SYMBOL ON TOP is clicked,the new symbol is overlaid on top of existing symbol. 2.If a new window is lot of work for you,you can simply allow the option from the right click menu on the chart to make the new symbol main symbol or symbol on the top. 3. ONE OF THE BIG REASON I still start my other program everyday is to compare symbols. I WANT TO MIGRATE THIS ALSO TO SC. I use this feature several times a day with different symbols. When news comes in on a stock,I want to see how it affects competitors. 4.STUDY COLLECTION is beautifully implemented in SC. I use it a lot. How can I efficiently use this in comparing several symbols when symbols keep on changing several times a day. Most trouble some is opening new charts with new symbols first. Please VISUALIZE IN THE CONTEXT of limited screen space,typically 5 to 8 symbols to compare and STOCKS MOVING IN MILLISECONDS AFTER THE NEWS. With my other software,I can compare 5 symbols IN 2 SECONDS. IN SC IT TAKES 74 SECONDS. Thanks for your excellent support and excellent program. I think what would help you is to use the Quote Board feature and link it to a chart: Getting Quotes: Quote Board Getting Quotes: Changing Symbol of a Chart or Trade DOM You can have 2 Quote Boards and link each one to a different chart. One of these charts can be overlaid onto the other chart to compare the graphs. So you then have the ability to easily change the symbols of either chart quickly.
